FAIR PLAY POLICY

It is the policy of YOUNGSTARS ACADEMY to ensure that all participants, volunteers, coaches and parents promote fair play at all times. Players are encouraged to be “good sports” and to co-operate with and respect their team-mates, coaches, officials and opponents at all times. The aim is for the players to enjoy the game, improve their skills and have fun.

WHOLE FOOTBALL ENVIRONMENT - WHAT CAN OUR PLAYERS EXPECT FROM PARENTS?

During Training -

bullet Observe training sessions by all means
bullet Don't put any undue pressure on player by verbal or body language

After Training -

bullet Ask questions  e.g.  "what did you do and why?"
bullet Don't give negative feedback
bullet If you have a concern regarding performance or application of the  player please address it in question with the coach
bullet Be supportive and preach work ethic and the importance of practice

During Matches -

bullet Positive comments throughout
bullet Don't give advice regarding performance, it may not coincide with the academy principles and philosophies
bullet Appreciate good play by both sets of players
bullet Don't be negative in your approach and body language

After Matches -
